Italian, sushi, and forty years of family in one Lakehurst bar

Forty years for a reason. The chicken francese was perfect, the sushi rolls were huge, and the Carlo Roll is now my regular order. The Boemios run a real Italian house.

We've eaten at Boemio's restaurants for 30 years. Three B's is the same hospitality, the same scratch kitchen, plus a full sushi bar — which still surprises me every time.

Booked the back room for our anniversary. Carlo came out, the sauerbraten was the best I've had outside of Munich, and the bar pie was the right way to start. Worth the drive.

Friday nights get loud at the bar — I love it but went down a star because the dining room sometimes catches it. Food is consistently great. Try the schnitzel.
